Paytm launches tap card for offline payments in India
Now you can access Paytm app in offline mode. Paytm just launched its new cashless payment feature. Paytm officially named this feature as "Tap card". Using Tap card now users can get the digital payment facility without acccess to mobiles or internet.
NFC-Near-field communication system is used by those tap cards to transfer money digitally.
Now, only paytm authorized POS(point of sell) machines can only use this payment feature. Also QR code scan option can be used to transfer money using tap card.
If we talk about security, any vulnerability occur in the system during transaction can be detected automatically by these tap cards.
At first stage, this card system will be available to educational institutions and small companies. And if it get successful at its first stage then the system will made available to other users.
Currently Chennai as a first city is now getting this facility. Soon the service will be available to other cities in India.
Feature of PAYTM Tap Card :
1. Only a single account can be accessed by this card.
2. Each card has a PIN number.
3. The cashback will be added with the card balance.
